Why You Need a Charcuterie Cart at Your Next Corporate Event

There was a time when charcuterie boards were enough. 2022 you could slap a board on a table and people would lose their dang minds. I would never say a platter wasn't enough, but lately I’ve been dreaming bigger. More interactive. More conversational. More MORE.

So after months of sketching ideas (ahem), collecting inspiration AKA scouring the depths of Insta, testing setups at events, and probably overthinking tiny details way too much… I finally launched something new for TPG:

The Platter Girl Mobile Cart Experience

Part grazing table. Part interactive food station. Part rolling centerpiece.

The cart can transform into:

  • a Crostini + Bruschetta Bar

  • a Charcuterie Cart

  • an artisan sandwich station

  • a snack cart

  • a beverage station

  • or a fully customized setup depending on the event

Basically… she’s versatile.

Why I Wanted To Create It

I’ve catered enough events over the years to notice something:

People love food, obviously. But what they really remember is the experience around it.

They remember walking up to something beautiful. Watching food get assembled. Talking to the person serving them and hearing their stories. Discovering combinations they wouldn’t have picked themselves.

The cart creates that moment naturally.

People gather around it. They start conversations. They ask questions. They come back three times pretending they’re “just looking.” It becomes part of the energy of the event instead of just another catering table tucked against a wall.

And honestly? I love that.

The Crostini Cart Is My Current Favorite

Right now my favorite version is the crostini setup.

Guests are served little layered bites with:

  • toasted artisan breads

  • whipped creamy cheeses

  • seasonal bruschettas

  • jams and preserves

  • olives and pickled vegetables

  • herbs, citrus, microgreens, and all the extra pretty things

One of my favorite combinations lately has been whipped garlic herb goat cheese with peach bruschetta, flaky sea salt, and hot honey.

It somehow tastes like summer and a dinner party and a tiny life reset all at once.

Designed For Modern Gatherings

The fun part about the cart is how flexible it is.

It works for:

  • weddings

  • corporate events

  • creative office parties

  • launch events

  • baby showers

  • birthdays

  • cocktail parties

  • hotel events

  • outdoor dinners

  • and honestly anything where people want the food to feel like part of the atmosphere

I wanted something that could feel elevated without feeling stiff or overly formal.

Beautiful food should still feel fun.

It’s Also Extremely Photogenic

I mean… obviously.

The cart was designed to photograph beautifully from the very beginning because food is visual now. Events are visual now. Everything is visual now.

And while yes, I absolutely care about how things taste, I also care about the feeling people get when they walk into a room and immediately say:

“Wait… this is SO cute.”

That’s kind of the sweet spot for me.

I am the founder of The Platter Girl—Luxury Grazing Company. I’ve worked in a few different industries, but I always found my way back to food. Now, I’m a mom, food photographer, recipe developer, and content creator, turning my passion for grazing boards into a business. I’m not classically trained—actually, I started my journey as a foster kid and later studied clinical psychology while working in the corporate world. But one thing I do know? How to create show-stopping, next-level grazing boards that bring people together.
